Born from Real Experience
Impactra was founded in Lagos by a team that spent years working with nonprofits across Africa. We saw firsthand how organizations struggled with systems designed for other markets—no local payment integrations, no offline capabilities, no understanding of African regulatory requirements.
We tried the existing solutions. Blackbaud was expensive and designed for the US market. Salesforce required costly customization. None of them understood Paystack, M-Pesa, or the reality of operating with unreliable internet in field locations.
So we built Impactra—the platform we wished existed. Purpose-built for African nonprofits. Integrations with local payment providers. Offline-first for field teams. Multi-currency support for NGN, KES, ZAR, and more. NDPR and POPIA compliance built in.
Today, Impactra powers over 500 nonprofits across 20+ African countries, from grassroots community organizations to international NGOs with continental operations. We're just getting started.

Reached 100 nonprofit customers across 15 African countries, with Paystack and M-Pesa integrations live.
